Mulenga has been in the football wilderness for some time, since parting ways with Sundowns at the end of his contract last year. The Zambian was signed by Sundowns as a 20-year-old in 2013, on a three-year contract.

Mukuka Mulenga (born 6 July 1993) is a Zambian international footballer who last played for Mamelodi Sundowns, Celtic in the South African Premier Soccer League, as a midfielder.

Locally, Mulenga has played club football for Power Dynamos and Kabwe Warriors.

He made his international debut for Zambia in 2012 and was a participant at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.

According to reports, Mukuka who now has some business running with his brother at a popular joint called ‘The Venue’ in Miseshi Kitwe had a blossoming career that even earned him an accolade of Zambian Footballer of the year in 2012.

Before he joined Sundowns, Mulenga was voted the Zambian Footballer of the Year for 2012 during his time with Power Dynamos, when he was just 19 years old.

    Yes,the guy is great but the problem is that the current football administrators in Zambia are biased and are morally weak hence leaving out the required men who can lift up the name of our great nation.the likes of mukuka,and many other players can do Zambia a wonder.especially local coaches are fond of bribes.this leaves me with so many options as to who can the football house in Zambia.i prefer the 2012 administration to be the best so far.
