Zambian midfielder Clatous Chota Chama has been nominated for the Simba Sports Club player of the year award. The Simba awards which are dubbed the Mo Simba awards will be held at the end of the Tanzania Mainland Premier league.
Chama has been nominated alongside captain of the side John Bocco and Ugandan-born Rwandan goal machine Meddie Kagere.
Chama has been influential for Simba this season helping them to 17 match unbeaten run in the league and a place in the CAF Champions quarter finals with six goals to his credit in the competition.
The awards which are in their second year running will also recognise the best young player, best striker and defender goalkeeper among many others.
