Son to Zambian football legend Charles Musinda’s son Charly Musonda’s stay with Eredivisionist Vitesse is already over, and without having played a minute. He immediately returns to his mother club Chelsea.
At the beginning of September, Musonda sustained a knee injury in a friendly game against Antwerp, which keeps him struggling. The former player of Anderlecht was once regarded as one of the greatest Belgian talents, but his career is now completely in ruins.
At Chelsea, under the previous coach Antonio Conte, he was given some opportunity to play, but the killing competition meant that Musonda could not continue. A previous lending to Celtic also yielded nothing. On Stamford Bridge he is still under contract until 2022.
