SEVERAL high level national teams have expressed interest to play Zambia’s Shepolopolo ahead of the 2023 FIFA women’s world cup slated for Australia and New Zealand, Zambianfootballnews.com understands.
And the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) President Andrew Kamanga says the Copper Queens have several high-level teams eager to face in their build up to the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Kamanga says after the ongoing COSAFA Women’s Championship, FAZ will unveil the Copper Queens roadmap for international friendly matches.
“After the Cosafa, we will zero on the roadmap for international friendly matches. We have several high-level candidates that are eager to play with us. That is a roadmap that will be rolled out in the aftermath of the Cosafa”.
And a source along Alick Nkhata road has disclosed to Zambianfootballnews.com that FAZ are in talks with European Champions England with world cup bound Sweden, Costa Rica and Norway wanting to face 2022 WAFCON bronze medalists.
