ZAMBIA’s Shepolopolo Captain, Grace Chanda scored twice as Zambia thrashed Togo 4-1 to qualify to the Quarterfinals of the 2022 TotalEnergies Women Africa Cup of Nations Saturday night in Morocco.

Chanda scored in the 14th and 60th minutes respectively, while her teammates Ireen Lungu and Xiomara Mapepa fired in their own in the 20th and 40th minutes respectively.

The Zambia National Women’s team was firing in all cylinders with a composed defense, but Afi Woedikou caught Zambia’s goalkeeper napping in the 35th minute to score the only goal for Togo in the match.

Zambia, who finished top of Group B with 7 points — 2 ahead of Cameroon, will now face Senegal in the quarter-finals on Wednesday 13 July at 19h00CAT.

Meanwhile, Grace Chanda has gotten the player of the Match award.
