NDOLA based Zambian super league glamour side ZESCO United are looking to snap out of contract Congolese Simba striker Chris Kope Mugalu.
Mugalu’s contract runs out at the month end of June and the Ndola based club look to strengthen its striking force ahead of the 2022/23 season.
With the acquisition of top goalie in Mwenya Chibwe, ZESCO is in search of an experienced striker and the club feels according to a soutce in Ndola that “a player Chris Mugalu’s stature upfront would be a force to reckon with”.
“Contact has not been made yet but Team Yaziko is weighing options to lure the lanky player to Levy Mwanawasa,” said the source.
The 31 year old once played for demoted Lusaka Dynamos before joining Tanzanian giants Simba FC where his contract is expected to run out at the Dar based club.
