Zambia’s Shepolopolo boss Bruce Mwape dropped top drawer goalkeeper Petronella Musole from his final Africa Cup of Nations squad without any reason.
Mwape has however kept faith in Hazel Nali (Fatih Vatan Spor-Turkey), Leticia Lungu (Zesco Ndola Girls) and Catherine Musonda (Indeni Roses).
Petronella Ngambo Musole won the Golden Glove award at the 2021 COSAFA Women’s Championship after guiding the Copper Queens to bronze medal finish in the tournament.
The ZESCO Ndola Girls shot-stopper had conceded just one goal in the competition, keeping two clean sheets in the three games she was in charge of.
