Aljosa Names Starting XI Against Ivory Coast, Prince Mumba Starts

ZAMBIA boss Aljosa Asanovic has named his starting XI against Ivory Coast with diminutive midfielder Prince Mumba getting the nod in the middle of the park in a 21hours kick off 2023 AFCON qualifier.

Toaster Nsabata has been given the glovesman of the day and will be protected at the back by central defence pairing of Scottish based centre back Frankie Chisenga Musonda and TP Mazembe defence pillar Tandi Mwape with Lubambo Musonda and Roderick Kabwe completing the wingback position.

Mercurial England based Enock ‘Computer’ Mwepu, Kabwe Warriors midfield dynamo Prince Mumba and Belgrade new acquisition Kings ‘Mature’ Kangwa complete the midfield trio with Isreal speedy winger Lameck Banda, Fashion Sakala and Patson Daka completing the equation.

Midfield general Emmanuel Banda, Simba midfield baller Rally Bwalya and Edward ‘Tiger’ Chilufya haven been confined to start from the bench.
