THE India versus Zambia international friendly match which was slated for Doha,Qatar on March 23,2022 has been cancelled.

The brief details are that the Football Association of Zambia(FAZ) through the General Secretary Mr Adrian Kashala wrote to their Indian counterparts indicating that they had failed to organise a squad for the match hence, the cancellation.

Zambia are scheduled to face Ivory Coast and Comoros Islands on June 4 & 7 respectively in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. A schedule availed earlier this week by FAZ indicated that the local Chipolopolo would play against India on May 23 before travelling to West Africa for a camp with friendlies against unnamed opponents which might also see foreign based players joining camp ahead of the crucial June fixtures.
