The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has appointed former Zambia National Team and Germany FC Koln defender Moses Sichone to the post of Zambia National Team assistant coach.
Sichone who previously served as National Team Technical Director in 2017/2018 returns to the Chipolopolo set up and will be tasked with assisting Head Coach Alijosa Asanovic in seeing to it that the Chipolopolo Boys meet their targets.
Sichone raised eyebrows when he was spotted in the stands in KoPa gear as he watched the National Team take on Congo Brazzaville and Benin in the International Friendly window in March.
The 44 year old former Nchanga Rangers hard tackler spent most of playing career in Germany and he was part of the Zambian 2000 African Nations Cup team, who finished third in group C in the first round of competition, thus failing to secure qualification for the quarter-finals.
