The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has secured the Chipolopolo Boys International friendly match with Angola.
Zambia will play Angola’s Palancas Negras in Portugal on March 25.
The new friendly match was confirmed by both Chipolopolo Boys coach Aljosa Asanovic and FAZ Communications Manager Sydney Mungala.
The Chipolopolo Boys will connect from Baghdad, Iraq to Portugal next week.
The team will then shift base to France were another friendly match against Guinea awaits them on March 29.
“We should be playing Angola in Portugal. I would say it’s at 75%,” Asanovic said before the team left for Iraq on Tuesday.
“On March 29 the Chipolopolo have a confirmed friendly against Guinea Conakry in France and process are being done in the background before we release the names of foreign based players,” added Mungala
“We are also likely to play Angola in Portugal on 25 March. What ever the case Zambia will have two friendly games during the FIFA window. 25th and 29th March, “Mungala said.
