FORMER Zambia boss Honour Janza has advised the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) not to rush in hiring the next Zambia boss after Beston ‘Quick Silver’ Chambeshi’s short term contract ended.
Janza who himself had little success with the national team lamented that:
“For me, if you look at Beston Chambeshi, he has been surrounded by about three foreign coaches but nothing has come out of it. We already had Sven [Vandenbroeck], Micho [Milutin Sredojevic], all these are foreign coaches but we have not gone to the AfCON or the World Cup. “Bringing foreign coaches is just cosmetic for me,” Honour Janza lamented.
Janza previously managed the national team, a position he took up in August 2014. He was manager at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations, and criticized his own players following a 2-1 defeat by Tunisia.
