WORLD Football governing body through CAF is investigating poor officiating of the Equatorial Guinea vs Chipolpolo as complained by the Football Association of Zambia.
Sources within FAZ state that Zambia’s complaint over bad officiating in Equatorial Guinea and the assault of Chipolopolo officials by the hosts after the match is still active.
“We are actively pursuing the matter and we are yet to receive feedback, “ a source who spoke on condition of anonymity disclosed.
CAF instituted investigations into the matter including obtaining statements from victims of the assault which occurred after the World Cup qualifier Chipolopolo lost 2-0 on October 7 marred by biased officiating.
FAZ lodged a protest into bad officiating and the assault of officials.
