Mwepu joined the premier league club on 6th July 2021 after signing a 4-year contract whose fee was at £20million.
The 23 year old joined Brighton from Red Bull Salzburg, where he played together with his long-time friend, Patson Daka, who is also his teammate in the Zambian National Team.

Mercurial Enock Mwepu has had a successful career, having begun his career at Kafue Celtic, after which he later participated in Football Assoviation of Zambia talent tourney Airtel Rising Stars, Power Dynamos, NAPSA Stars, Red Bull Salzburg and in Liefering.
