AfCON 2012 winning defender Hichani Himoonde alias HH has urged the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) to consider fusing in two or three Chipolopolo veterans in order to improve ths performance of the team.

The now retired Hichani writes;

“One thing the people running football in this country don’t understand is that a village without elders is not a village,I personally I found Kennedy Mweene playing for the national team before me and my colleague Sunzu come in,I can Assure you that Mweene used to push us as defenders all the time and we needed that extra push cause he was a senior in the squared.

All I’m trying to say is Zambia needs 4 to 3 senior players to push and motivate the young starts.
I believe the room for improvement is their if we change our mindset and start doing things to help develop and improve young talent,I’m sure we can do it again😊”
