Kambole Fails to Find New Club, To Wait till January 2022

Lazarous Kambole

CHIPOLOPOLO strike winger Lazarous Kambole will have to wait till January 2022 for him to kick and return to football, Zambianfootballnews.com understands.

Kambole’s failure to secure a move away from Kaizer Chiefs after getting deemed surplus to requirement at the beginning of this season means he will have to wait till January for him to get into competitive football if at all a new club snaps his signature.

While there was reported interest, especially for Kambole, nothing materialized as the duo in Ntiya Ntiya and Kambole couldn’t move before the closing of the transfer window on 31 August.

If that’s not the case then chances of the two players leaving Chiefs when the mid-season transfer window opens in January are very high.

Should Chiefs decide to amicably part ways with both Kambole and Ntiya-Ntiya now, then the duo will have to wait for the next transfer window to open before returning to football.

And that’s because FIFA rules prohibit players who were not free agents when the previous window closed to sign with any team outside the transfer window.
