FAZ Boss Kamanga Blames Ref For Tunisia Loss

Andrew Kamanga

Football Association of Zambia boss Andrew Kamanga has attributed poor officiating from referee Ortogo as reason for Chipolopolo loss to Tunisia on Tuesday 7th.

The FAZ supremo expressed his displeasure with the officiating in Tunisia game which Zambia lost 2-0 at Levy.

Zambia effectively handed over group control to the Tunisians when they lost 2nil at Levy Mwanawasa stadium.

“I think in the first half the referee wasn’t fair to us, he gave a penalty that we didn’t think was a penalty and the first few cards but we have to soldier on,” Kamanga said of the early penalty.

The administrator also believes the Chipolopolo stand a chance of winning the group with back to back fixture against Equatorial Guinea set for the 6th and 10th of October.

“We have a chance to go and win in Equatorial Guinea and also hope for the best at home, so we will have a good chance to fight and get to the second round… so if we can get the six points it will take us to nine points”
