CHIPOLOPOLO’s latest world ranking has been revealed following the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Mauritania and Tunisia.
The Zambian national team returned to international duty earlier this month where Beston Chambeshi’s side recorded a 2nill home loss against Tunisia and a 2-1 victory over Mauritania in their opening two qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Chipolopolo’s performances had little impact on the nation’s global standing, however, as the boys in orange and green remain 85th in FIFA’s latest world ranking and 18th in Africa, literally retaining their position from last month.
Elsewhere, Senegal remains Africa’s highest-ranked nation after climbing one spot to 20th, while Belgium are still the world’s highest-ranked football team overall, having held the top spot for more than two years now.
