Chambeshi Sweats On Mwepu, Daka & Patson Replacements

ZAMBIA Boss Beston Chambeshi and his Croatian Technical director Aljosa are in panic mode with news that United Kingdom based players will not make the Chipolopolo trip back home from Equatorial Guinea.

Mercurial Midfield Mwepu Enock, Leicester marksman Patson Daka and Rangers exciting winger Fashion Sakala have been ruled out of Zambia’s home matchday 4 of the Qatar 2022 world cup qualifier scheduled for Heroes National stadium owing to the red list the UK government has placed on Zambia’s COVID status.

Coach Chambeshi is unsure of who replaces the core members of the current Chipolopolo and he has set his sight on recalling Arsenal Tula midfield stalwart Klings Kangwa and fit again striker Evans Kangwa.

Zambia plays Equatorial Guinea on 6th October before hosting them four days later at the prestigious National Heroes stadium in Lusaka.
