CAF Approves Heroes Stadium to Host Eq. Guinea Clash

The Confederations of African Football (CAF) has released a list of stadia to host next month 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup.

According to the list released, The National Heroes Stadium in the city of Lusaka is among the approved stadia and will host match-day four of Group B between Zambia and Equatorial Guinea.

The Chipolopolo boys will be away to Equatorial Guinea for match-day three on 6th October before hosting their opponents four days later.

With Zambia having two approved stadia together with Levy Mwanawasa in Ndola which hosted the Tunisia game, 13 African nations are set to host matches away from their home nations.

The countries which will host matches abroad include Namibia, Malawi [both in South Africa] Democratic Republic of Congo, Sudan, Ivory Coast [all three not settled for any] Mozambique, Guinea Bissau, Guinea, Mali, Bukina Faso and Djibouti [All six in Morocco], Central African Republic [in Cameroon] and Liberia [in Ghana].
