
Mauritania national team coach Corentin Da Silva Martins has named a 25-man squad for the two upcoming Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Zambia and Equatorial Guinea next month.
The squad comprises of a number of local based players and a mix of European based mostly based in France. The squad also includes former Fulham forward Aboubakar Kamara currently playing in the Greek top flight.
The ‘Lions of Chiguetti’ host Zambia next week Friday at the Olympic Stadium in Mauritania’s capital Nouakchoutt. Kick will be at 18:00hrs CAT.
Four days later, Mauritania travel to Malabo to face Equatorial Guinea in their Matchday two encounter as Zambia will be entertaining Tunisia in Ndola on the same day.
