CHIPOLOPOLO midfielder Roderick Kabwe is set to leave South African PSL relegated Black Leopards club after the two parties agreed to mutually part ways.
Kabwe was one of Lidoda Duvha’s star players last season, but his performances were at times overshadowed by the results of the club, which saw them getting relegated to the GladAfrica Championship.
Kabwe joined Leopards before the start of the 2020/21 from Ajax Cape Town (now Cape Town Spurs) on a two-year deal. He has a year left on his contract with the Limpopo outfit, but the Siya crew has been informed that he will leave the club and therefore become available as a free agent, as he hopes to find a club in the topflight.
Reports in South African media claim that Limpopo based club Marumo Gallants could look at bringing in the 28-year-old midfielder ahead of the new campaign.
