Leicester City midfielder Hamza Choudhury is seeking a loan move to Newcastle United in a bid to secure first-team football next season, according to reports.
Choudhury’s will free up his jersey 20 that Chipolopolo marksman Patson Daka wears for his country. Daka apparently puts on Jersey 29 for Leicester City.
Choudhury’s future is under fresh scrutiny at the King Power Stadium where his prospects of playing an integral role at the Foxes next season remain bleak.
The arrival of Boubakary Soumare has further restricted his chances of regular football and he now looks set to depart this summer.
Newcastle are among the list of suitors with Steve Bruce’s side eager to strengthen their own midfield options having missed out on Choudhury last January.
But now the Northern Echo say that Newcastle remain hopeful of a deal and claim sources have told them that Choudhury has instructed his representatives to find him a new club.
